La Tour Haut Brion is a classic, elegant, thoroughbred Pessac. Its bouquet develops aromas of cigar boxes, undergrowth and blackberry jam. Beautifully direct, well-balanced and delicate in the mouth. A truly great wine, now incorporated into La Mission Haut-Brion.
- Colour: Dark ruby red.
- Nose: Better on the nose, with its smoky, cherry pipe tobacco and forest floor scents.
- Palate: Concentrated, powerful, beefy and leaning slightly to the rustic side with its tannins.
- Finish: Masculine, powerful, tannic and structured, the fruit is quality, the structure is there for further aging, but this is not a delicate, elegant or refined wine that you can sip easily.
