Vintage Character

An unusually wet vintage with a cold spring, delayed bloom and prolonged growing season. October rain required rigorous selection and an experienced, selective harvest.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairing

Fresh almond, wild strawberry and cassis lead into smooth caramel, dark berries, cocoa and sage. Polished tannins support a long, elegant finish.

Winemaking & Maturation

Harvested selectively from October 15–24 after a wet growing season. The blend is 86% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, with 40% new barrels. Released April 2014.
