Vintage Character

A cold winter and late but normal bud cycle preceded a sunny, warm summer with cool nights. Healthy grapes achieved excellent ripeness, and harvesting began in very good conditions.

Tasting Profile & Food Pairing

Concentrated colour and intense ripe blackcurrant aromas lead to a fresh, powerful palate with firm tannins, fleshy texture and very good aromatic length.

Winemaking & Maturation

Harvested by hand from 20–30 September, the grapes were sorted, fermented in temperature-controlled wooden vats and completed malolactic fermentation in barrel before 24 months of maturation.
