Named after 18th-century owner Catherine Conseillan, La Conseillante has belonged to the Nicolas family since 1871. Its Pomerol vineyard comprises sixteen plots spanning grey clay and sandy gravel soils.

A classic La Conseillante vintage with pronounced aromatics and a silky tannic texture. The cold, dry winter and early budbreak were followed by limited frost impact and warm, relatively dry summer conditions.
