Winemaking & Maturation

Harvested from 9 September to 6 October 2009. The blend is 46% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 14% Cabernet Franc, with 78% new barrels and 14.5% alcohol.

Matured in 78% new barrels; bottled from 22 to 27 June 2011.

First recorded in 1521, Château Haut-Brion is based in Pessac and has belonged to the Dillon family since 1935. It is the only estate both a First Growth in the 1855 classification and a Classified Growth of Graves.
