Vintage Character

A warm, dry July advanced ripening, followed by a cooler, wetter August and intermittent September rain. Healthy fruit remained in excellent condition, allowing harvest at full maturity.

Winemaking & Maturation

Hand-harvested fruit underwent rigorous sorting, fermentation in wood and cement vats, and 20–30 days of maceration. The wine matured for 18–24 months in French oak, 80% new.

Manual harvest with vineyard and reception sorting. Fermentation in 50% wooden and 50% temperature-controlled cement vats at 24–29°C; maceration lasted 20–30 days, followed by co-inoculated malolactic fermentation.
