Neighbouring Château Lafite Rothschild, Duhart-Milon was acquired by Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Lafite) in 1962. Its Pauillac vineyard lies on the Milon hillside, with fine gravel and aeolian sand over tertiary limestone.
Vintage & producer notes
A hot, very dry summer created water stress, but Duhart-Milon's cool, late-ripening terroir coped well. Mid-September rain allowed the grapes to complete ripening under optimal conditions.
