    Product Intelligence

Four independent evidence layers are kept separate so you can see what comes from the producer, professional tasters, critics and customer reviews.

First recorded as Fazilleau in 1741, the estate occupies clay-and-gravel terroir on the Pomerol plateau. Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite acquired Château L'Évangile in 1990.

    Vintage & producer notes

A hot, dry summer moderated by timely light rain and cool nights enabled slow ripening. Merlot achieved exceptional richness, while small, thick-skinned Cabernet Franc berries delivered ripe, expressive tannins.
