TASTING NOTES:

This wine boasts a deep, ruby-red color with aromas of black currant, sweet pipe tobacco, and cedar. On the palate, it is medium to medium-full bodied with superb, lively acidity that lifts the concentrated black fruit flavors. The tannic structure is tight and concentrated, leading to a long, satisfying finish. This wine is peaking but will remain at this plateau for another decade. Perfectly paired with grilled lamb chops, Beef Wellington, aged cheddar cheese, or roasted duck.
